Welcome to Langley Metal Works Custom Work Gallery. Here you can see a sampling of some of our favorite signs, gates, and projects over the past years. We invite you to view the gallery and find inspiration for your next project.
The process for making the sign is quite simple. Fill out the Request A Quote above and send it to LMW. We'll then contact you and make sure we are clear on the details such as basic size, shape, and general price range for the custom item. We'll gather any other information at this time to start the sign process.
For custom signs we require a $50 deposit before design work begins. For more information see below.
After the deposit has been made, the sign will be designed digitally, and sent to you as a .pdf proof through email. Changes and updates to the proof will be made until you are 100% happy with the design. Once the proof is approved the remaining balance is due before fabrication. For payment we accept PayPal payments, and all major credit cards.
After payment is complete we then cut the sign using a CNC plasma cutting machine and new mild steel. The sign is hand cleaned front and back resulting in a smooth and clean sign. We then take our signs to a professional powder coat shop where they apply and bake on the powder coat finish. Once we have the sign back from the powder cost shop we wrap, package and ship using UPS or USPS. You will receive an automatic tracking number when the sign ships. Over sized items may ship via a freight truck. The entire sign making process usually take 2-4 weeks. During the holidays turnaround times may be extended.
